About Kalista

Kalista Hurel graduated from Cal Poly SLO in the spring of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Media Arts, Science, and Technology.

Recently, she’s been working on hired projects, videos of her travels, fun with friends and family, all while still curating her personal style. She loves to take photos of anything and everything she finds beautiful. To supplement her creative lifestyle, she also coaches middle school lacrosse and basketball, and is looking forward to being Head Coach of a varsity high school lacrosse team this Spring.

Kalista believes that the best part of living is doing anything you’re able to do and taking advantage of every opportunity that presents itself (especially in your 20’s!). In this transitional stage of life, it is easy to feel discouraged and lost (to say the least). Kalista remains excited to forge a path that allows her to create and contribute to projects that are intriguing, thought-provoking, and entertaining… because, like many, she is sick of LinkedIn ;)
